★ April 15, 2010 GZESL signed cooperation agreement with Techinco Inspection Co. from Iran.
★ April 28, 2010 The first Clean Development Mechanism (CDM) project--“Binlang River Mangkang Hydraulic Power Station in Yingjiang County, Yunnan Province” which was verified by the China Quality Certification Center under GZESL, passed the review by the executive council.
★ Late May, 2010 Marseilles Company applied for and acquired successfully the first 3C certificate for its local client, Bridgestone ITALIA.
★ June 2010 GZESL Sichuan Company carried out the examination and verification work for China’s first energy management system certification project.
★ July, 2010 Affiliates within GZESL system held in succession the campaign of “Discipline Education Month”. The Code of Conduct for Inspectorof Imported Scrap and Used Machinery and the Code of Conduct for Factory Inspector were enacted and implemented respectively in August and September.
★ July 31, 2010, GZESL Fujian Company signed cooperation agreement on the business of food factory verification and assessment in relation to the “appraisal system for the quality management criteria of factories which produce frozen vegetable to be exported to Japan” with Japan Association for Quality and Safety of Imported Frozen Vegetables (ASV).
★ August 3, 2010 GZESL Inspection Company received the “Equipment Surveillant Credential” jointly issued by AQSIQ and NDRC.
★ August 4, 2010, GZESL CPC Committee held in Beijing the mobilization meeting for the “Striving for Excellence in Performance” campaign, marking the full launch of the campaign in GZESL.
★ October, 2010 GZESL Information Center was established with the approval of CNCA.
★ October 2, 2010 GZESL issued the first GZESL “Certification of Freedom from Asian Gypsy Moth Onboard” to “FRATZESCOS M” vessel heading for North America, marking the official launch of GZESL’s onboard Asian gypsy moth inspection.
★ October21, 2010 GZESL Committee for the Review of Intermediate Title was established with the approval of CNCA.
★ October 30, 2010 GZESL and the US Underwriters Laboratories Inc. co-hosted the “Creating a Bright Future Together after 3 Decades of Cooperation” celebration at the Great Hall of the People to mark the 30th anniversary of friendly cooperation.
★ December, 2010 The GZESL VI Manual (2010 Version) was formally promulgated and implemented from January 1, 2011. The Manual had developed 8 application systems (including OA, publicity and meeting), some 150 items for the combination of GZESL’s and its affiliates’ logos.
★ As of the end of 2010 GZESL had put across within its system the “private coffer” special campaign, asset inspection, and clean-up and rectification of charges in relation to enterprise, which involved 117 affiliates within the system, including the group headquarter, 41 domestic subsidiaries, 22 overseas subsidiaries and 53 tertiary affiliates.
